Atlanta Fire Station #29 Rescue Appreciation Day

Friends of Fire Station #29 & Atlanta Firefighters. 

On Saturday, April 29th, Piedmont Heights will honor our brave and courageous firefighters with a 5 X 8 foot banner to express our appreciation for their efforts during the I-85 Fire and Collapse. This banner will be funded through donations from local businesses. In return for a small donation, each business may submit their company logo to be  included on the banner. We will also need to purchase and install supports for the banner. Suggested donations are $25-50. 

You can also support this event by donating food, beverages, balloons, etc. All ideas are welcome. 

The deadline for Banner Donations and logo submissions is Tuesday, April 25, 2017. 

Plans are being made to install the banner in late morning on Saturday ( 11:30) and to invite the residents, businesses and our District 6 Councilman, Alex Wan. Atlanta Fire Rescue Public Information Officer, Sgt. Stafford Cortez will alert the media and provide any other support we may need. Let’s make this a celebration for our Piedmont Heights community!
