APS announced their recent decision regarding the elementary school rezoning. Piedmont Heights will remain at Morningside Elementary. More info from AJC.

Update from 6/7/22

The final vote is scheduled for August 8. The current recommendation on the table maintains that Piedmont Heights will remain at Morningside Elementary.

Update from 5/16/22

Even if you have kids at a private school or if you don't have school-aged children, these decisions affect our whole neighborhood – and all residents should feel empowered to make your voice heard on this matter.

APS was supposed to vote on the final plan in June. It has now been pushed back to August.

We have JUST TWO WEEKS of remaining Engagement Sessions to be heard! This is the time for Piedmont Heights parents to SHOW UP and SPEAK UP.
