Monday is Trash Day in PiHi

City of Atlanta garbage and recycle bin items are scheduled to be picked up once a week every Monday.

You can also take your yard trimmings to one of three drop-off locations:

• Key Road Landfill - 1320 Key Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
• Northside Warehouse - 1540 Northside Dr  NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
• Hartsfield Landfill - 2175 James Jackson Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30318

Residents are notified by postcards and on the City’s website, when there are changes to trash-pick-up schedules and rules. 

Herbie Curbies (the green trash can from the City) should be placed on the curb after 7 p.m. the previous day and removed from the curb by 7 p.m. on collection day. 

Yard trimmings must be in a separate marked receptacle or in large paper bags manufactured for yard-trimming disposal.  No plastic bags can be used, and no regular trash can be mixed with yard trimmings. One additional recycle bin beyond the one issued by the city will be picked up if customers have more recycle items than can fit into the bin.
