On Tuesday, August 6, the next License Review Board Meeting will be held at the Atlanta City Hall. Club Platinum will be presenting their case to reopen. Please consider showing up for this meeting. A community presence can be quite impactful.
The last item on the agenda is KJBR, LLC d/b/a Club Platinum seeking to obtain a license "to operate a nightclub with liquor, beer, and wine consumed on the premises, along with customer dancing and adult entertainment, at 1905 Piedmont Road." This case will be heard as a Due Dause for denial of the application based on issues raised in the NPU recommendation for denial in 2022 and 2023.

Allure Petitioning to Become Aria
Allure plans to change ownership and become Aria Gentlemen’s Club, continuing as an adult nightclub. This follows city guidelines that allow a similar business to use the same property within a year after changing owners.
Our friends in Lindridge Martin Manor spoke with City Council Representative Alex Wan, who noted there's no deadline for the Mayor to decide on any ownership revocation. This process could take up to 12 months. Additionally, unless Allure is officially deemed a nuisance, there aren't immediate grounds to deny a new license for the location.
Given this information, we need to start another email campaign to encourage the Mayor to address this issue promptly.
You can email Mayor Dickens asking for his support of the License Review Board's (LRB) findings and carrying forth the recommended penalties. Please share your concerns and personal experiences with him on how Allure Gentlemen's Club is impacting you. You can use the email draft below.
