Did you know that Heritage Prep has been in the heart of Piedmont Heights since 2003?! The school’s two campuses, at Morningside Baptist Church and the former Rock Spring Presbyterian, are a critical piece of preserving historic landmarks and green space in Piedmont Heights.

Master Plan Refresh
This is the second, and final, community engagement survey to inform the Piedmont Heights Master Plan update. The following survey will highlight 10 posters that offer ideas and recommendations to address issues and opportunities in Piedmont Heights, based on initial research and feedback received from the neighborhood. Note that this is not a comprehensive list of recommendations that will be reported in the final plan update. Rather, the concepts above are a sampling of ideas that the project team is seeking your reaction to. Much more will be discussed in the final plan document.
These posters were initially presented to the community at the annual Piedmont Heights annual neighborhood meeting. If you weren't able to share your thoughts at the meeting, now is your chance to do so! Take the FINAL SURVEY!

Thanks to Saint Martin Lutheran Church, PiHi's Gotham Way Park continues to be well-maintained and improved, as their volunteers joined with PiHi neighbors to add new plants, add pathways, repaint, and more! You can get to know their congregation at their weekly Sunday services at 10:30 at the former Rock Spring Presbyterian space, now the high school of Heritage School.

Variance Request UpdateRegarding the 1832 Monroe Dr. Variance Application V-23-014 – The Atlanta Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) recommended denial for this application. This short-term rental property paved the majority of their front yard for parking, which is against the city code. Your PHCA Board and NPU-F neighbors voted to deny the application, as the situation is unsightly and is not an acceptable precedent we want to set within the neighborhood. |
