Resources for VeteransAtlanta VA Medical Center’s 2023 Operation Reveille is an annual Homeless Veteran Outreach event. Tuesday, September 12, from 10:00-2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army’s KROC Center (967 Dewey Street SW). At Operation Reveille, the Atlanta VA Healthcare System and partner organizations will provide services to Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services will include screening for housing placement, food and hygiene items, access to showers, VBA claims assistance, barber services, housing resource matching, vocational opportunities, and more. City of Atlanta Shared Micromobility Survey: The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) seeks insight into how Atlanta’s residents and visitors use shared e-bikes, e-scooters, and other shared micromobility resources.
Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) Metropolitan Transportation Plan Public Survey: ARC needs your input to support development of the long-range Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), which will allocate over $170 billion toward addressing regional transportation needs through 2050. While the primary focus of the MTP is transportation, the overarching goal of the plan is to envision the future, which includes related areas such as housing, technology, and the environment.

Welcome, Peachtree Aikido!
Peachtree Aikido Atlanta invites you to visit their Grand Opening on Saturday, September 23. They're in the shopping center behind Gorilla Car Wash. Fun for the whole family, their open house will feature Aikido demonstrations as well as games and origami from 10am-2pm. See you there! Peachtree offers Aikido classes for adults and children 6 and up. Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that emphasizes self-improvement, self-defense, and the resolution of conflict without violence. Where other martial arts focus on competition, Aikido focuses on blending and collaborative training. Aikido is a challenging workout with a deeper message that nourishes both mind and spirit.
